Take a look at it now! Because it had no bottom, J picked up some gravel and paving stones and made a base for it. Then he pegged it into the ground from the inside. He cleaned it and spray painted it a grey (6 cans of metal spray paint) to match our house. Then he spray painted the doors white (1 can) for a bit of added definition. I included a picture of our siding so you could see what a great match it turned out to be!
For just over a hundred bucks, we have a place to store all our gardening supplies, bikes and boat supplies. And it looks like it came with our house!
I'm so happy with how it turned out.
What projects do you have on the go?

That is AWESOME. Looks great! Ours looks terrible (it came with the house, but we've since painted our house... which actually helped the shed look better - but it's seen better days) and I had never considered a solution other than buying a new one. Hmm...
ReplyDeleteThanks Lindsay! My boyfriend J said to remind everyone how much work he had to put into it - ha ha. And that the paving stones and gravel cost money too, but we agreed that we still came out WAY ahead and could never have bought one that matched so well!
