Before and After: Celery Green Vintage Chair

It was another steaming hot Sunday just dripping with humidity here in Winnipeg!  I spent the day sanding and priming several furniture pieces.  But I love a little instant gratification so I managed to finish off this antique chair I found earlier this week.  Here's the before...


Because it's such a sturdy, solid wood chair, I really felt it needed softening with a pretty, modern colour.  I decided on Krylon's Celery and gave it several coats of primer, paint and varathane finish.  Here's the after...
