Before and After: Modern Blue Small Dresser

Since it rained all weekend, I couldn't do as much work sanding and spraying outside as I would have liked.  But I did manage to finish off this small dresser I've been working on today.  I picked it up about a month back at a thrift shop and I was initially drawn to the solid pine frame and elegant shape.

Playing around with some different colour combinations, I decided to go with the dove grey for the body (CIL's Reflecting Pool) and a soft turquoise blue (CIL's Moonglow) for the drawers.  I also added some distressed floral detailing on the drawer fronts, which I think really compliments the contemporary angular pewter hardware.

If you live in the Winnipeg area and are interested in purchasing the Modern Blue Small Dresser, you can do so here.

Have a great week friends!
