Since I knew it would be for a children's room, I decided to go with a nice celery green (Krylon's Celery) - good for a wee little boy or girl! It was also a great opportunity to have a little bit of fun with hand painting, so I added ABC as an extra touch.
If you live in the Winnipeg area and are interested in purchasing the Alphabet Green Kid's Rocker, you can do so here.
Hope you have a great day, I'm off for brunch with S at one of my fave haunts - Stella's. What are you up to today?
So cute, if I lived nearby I would purchase this! I've been looking for a little rocker just like this. And I love sock monkeys (probably because my Dad always wore those wool socks, year round!)
ReplyDeleteThis is so adorable! I used to have a little table and chair set growing up and recently my mom brought it out of storage when my cousin her little 2 1/2 year old came to visit. She was so proud to have her own special seat. There is a little one out there who will adore this rocker.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute. :) Very wise choice choosing a neutral color too.
ReplyDeleteThat would be SO perfect in a nursery!
ReplyDeleteI really like the color you used. It looks alot like the color of my bedroom walls.Very soothing color!
ReplyDeleteGreat color! Love the ABC detail!
ReplyDeleteIts sooo cute! I adore the colours and the ABC is adorable:)
ReplyDeleteWell done:)
Love this... And I wanted to second the comment about it being a perfectly gender neutral colour. The green is pretty much a dead match for the wall colour in B's room (and we knew we were having a girl when we painted it) - some little boy or girl out there is going to be *so* excited to own this chair.
ReplyDeleteThanks all, I think doing kid's stuff is my favourite! Lindsay, you have FANTASTIC taste in paint colours!
