I did a bit of treasure hunting this week to stock up on new inventory and found these fab new finds that I plan on transforming in the coming weeks.
This pine TV stand is pretty blah as is, but it's solid and it's got great sliding doors just begging for some pretty paper detailing - don't you think?
I'm super excited about this children's size rocking chair, it's such a great find. It's going to be even more exciting when it's painted in a vibrant colour any kid will love!
And another one of these ho-hum side tables we've seen a million times, this one's wood with great leg carving, so I'm looking forward to putting my stamp on it.
We're heading to Gimli for the weekend so I may have to pack up a project and bring it with me! Lots of great 'afters' to show you in the near future - stay tuned!
Have a great night friends...
Wow, congratulations! Things are really taking off. I can't wait to see the in progress and after shots.
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy! :) Just remember, no matter what happens - you'll always be my first customer and that truly has a special place in my heart!

I've been following your blog for a little while now, and I love what you've been doing with the furniture. In fact you've inspired me so much that I went to the Salvation Army last week and bought a coffee table (it has the same legs as the side table you posted above) and I'm going paint it, make a cushion for the top and turn it into a bench! $35 sounds a lot more reasonable than the $299 they're asking for their benches at Home Sense...and I think it will be much nicer!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your business and your blog!
Great stuff to work on...I wish I could get to the point where I had to actually look for more stuff to paint, my to-do pile is never ending, lol. Are you going to tackle some bigger pieces at some stage?
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend :)
xx Karen
look slike some fun projects brewing! can't wait to see how they turn out!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Friend Friday!
ReplyDeleteMy parents have a sidetable just like that. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.
You're on a roll, Lenore! Very exciting.
ReplyDeleteThe little rocking chair reminds me of one from my childhood. It had a special corner in my Grandma's living room - all her kids had used it, and then her grandkids. It was bright red and a little beat up, but still beautiful.
so excited for you :)
