Before and After: Blue Bird Accent Table

Sorry for the radio silence, my laptop has been at the doctor.  Diagnosis - time to buy a new laptop.  Yikes!  Wasn't expecting that cost but sometimes you just have to suck it up right?

So I've been working like a busy bee for the last little while on new projects and there are a few to come in the next few days.  First off is one of the cute accent tables I picked up a few weeks ago.  Remember the very boring before?

I've got three, so the first one has been freshly painted in a vivid turquoise blue (CIL's Moonglow).  AND I did my first hand painted design in a soft grey (CIL's Reflecting Pool).  I'm so happy with how it turned out!

If you live in the Winnipeg area and would like to purchase the Blue Bird Accent Table, you can do so here.

Happy Thursday friends!  Sorry no blog share today, I'm a little backed up with my computer issues!

  5. I actually saw this little table on kijiji before I read this post. Knew instantly it was yours! I'm absolutely flabbergasted that you drew the bird by hand. It looks great, and I love that you're trying something new. I'm also excited to see how the others turn out.

  7. Once again, great job! I'm in between stripping layers of paint right now on a dresseer and decided to hop on the computer to find some inspiration... Brought up your blog first, and instant inspiration! The blue accent table is super cute, and I think you did a grand job with the handpainted
    bird.

  8. I can definitely see this one in a nursery (I feel funny saying that word, we just call it a baby's room, lol). Did you trace or copy a picture, or just put pencil to table and end up with that super cute design?
