Before and After: Spoonful of Yellow Flowers Padded Bench

Happy Tuesday friends! This reveal has been a long time coming...I'm still working on my commission for Jeannette (it's a big job!) but in the meantime, I was inspired to finish this project over the long weekend.

It all started out like this early in the summer, a great little thrift store find with nice legs.

I worked hard on revamping this piece into this...sanding and priming and painting and finishing.  I recovered the padded seat TWICE with this adorable polka dot fabric only to have the fabric run both times.  You can read about my frustrations here! I eventually put her to the back of the room and left well enough alone for a few months.

I could have recovered her again but the fabric was cheap and I wasn't happy with the results.  So when my new fabric arrived from Swanky Swell, I knew she needed an extreme bench makeover.  Here she is now!

Isn't she lovely?  If you live in the Winnipeg area and you see this lovin' spoonful fitting right into your space, you can purchase it here!

Have a great day!
