Etsy Love: Clothescape

The chilly weather turns my thoughts to cozy blankets.  I like to keep them in every seating area of the house, from each couch to my offic chair to plenty in the bedroom, so I can curl up and be cozy no matter where I'm lounging.

I've always been a fan of quilts, I love their texture and weight and the love that goes into making them.  My talented seamstress sis made me a small quilt a few years ago, customized to my living room colours at the time - I still love it!  Recently, while browsing Etsy, I came across cool quilter Clothescape and their fresh and modern designs instantly caught my eye.  These are not your grandmother's quilts!

   

I would love to drape one of these fabulous creations over my bed, adding a touch of homemade with a touch of modern and unique!

She also quilts her designs onto other items, like bags and pillows. And she used organic cotton and other sustainable materials whenever possible.
