So since I've started to narrow my furniture focus to having distinctive details like zesty colours, pretty paper accents and unique fabrics, I've been searching high and low for great sources. Design*Sponge recently posted a list of fabric resources and I came across the most amazing site called Spoonflower.
This online fabric shop not only hawks beautiful textiles, they also allow you to create your own fabric! How cool is that? For all you designers out there, you simply upload a file with your design and you can have it printed on your own custom fabric.
Here's a small sample of some of my favourites from their current fabric stock for sale:

Also every week they have a fabric design contest where you can enter your original designs and readers can vote on their faves. The winner receives a Spoonflower credit plus a commission of all fabric sold in their design! Isn't that just a great way to break into the textile design industry?
Another great feature is that you can choose your fabric weight and content for all designs and order both small and large quantities, depending on your project. You can check out Spoonflower's blog here!
Have a great Thursday friends...
I also loved the Secret Daughter, I couldn't put it down. Thanks for the blog share.
