I know, I know - this is not a {Lake Love Week} post...we interrupt this regularly scheduled programming to share some very stylish goodies. I've been on a wee bit of a shopping bender and I just had to show you this dreamy top I scored last week from Forever 21. It's my absolute favourite colours in the world (navy and aqua) with my absolute favourite patterns in the world (bird motifs and tiny polka dots)...what are the odds? I also snagged this pale aqua cardigan from the Gap with a credit I had leftover from the winter.
There were definitely some bra issues as it's a racerback tank, and would you believe it's near impossible to find a racerback bra in my size?? Why do they even make so many of those tanks then? Anyhoo, rant. I have the little clippy thing to tie the back of your bra together but it still showed. So true story - I bought a silky navy/royal blue bra to blend perfectly with this top. Oh the things we do for fashion!
Yes, I'm a bad girl and I wore it flowy and boxy. It's so dang hot out! I promise to belt it like a good little apple-shaped girl next time....
I love these Gap skinny jeans because they have the perfect amount of stretch and they're regular length - which on me is cropped to a perfectly jaunty Audrey Hepburn-ish length. Love them! Is it wrong that I love all jean styles (except light denim)? Boot cut, wide leg, straight, boyfriend, skinny...I'm an equal opportunity denim lover.
And yes I know I need to paint my toenails - shush.

Now, on to part 2 of the day...can you fall in love with an object? If so, I fell truly, madly and deeply in love with the most soft and pretty floral scarf I got in the mail yesterday. Hey Stephanie, the top is new merch and I got it in the Faith 21 section of the store. I'm not sure where you would find it in the smaller sizes. It was 20 bucks! You should go check out the store, so much cheap and adorable stuff.
