Before and After: Sweet Blue Bedside Table

A few weeks ago I shared with you one of my latest pre-loved treasures...

And now I'm so excited to show you how what has become of it!  This elegant bedside table had a great shape but I didn't love the gold trimming.  So I rescued it for a mere $20 from a lovely old couple who had just sold their house and were downsizing to a condo.

I sanded it down and painted it several coats in a robin's egg blue paint ( I had leftover from another bedside table I had painted for myself.  I applied a decorative paper to the drawer front and to line the drawer, then added a pretty glass knob.  I sealed the table with a paste wax for durability and sheen.  Now it's a Lather Creation!

This elegant table would add a touch of colour and whimsy to any bedroom.  It's available for sale through Lather Creations, email me for details.
