Style Peek: silky graphic top + cuffed denim shorts

Hello! What an amazing long weekend! My girlfriend Laureen and her baby Milo arrived from Calgary on Friday afternoon and we high-tailed it out to Gimli for a weekend of sun, sand, wine and relaxation. It was so great to have them here, Milo is a total doll and I really needed a girl's weekend right before my wedding (even though J was there - he fished most of the time :). We were too busy having fun I forgot to take pictures - sorry!

Today after I dropped them off at the airport, I took an impromptu road trip to Grand Forks for a few hours of shopping for Fall basics on super sales - no judgement please! You know I love to stock the closet. I picked up a pair of jeggings, some bootcut jeans, wicked winter boots and some opaque tights - great pieces to transition me into winter ( I know, I know, let's not think about it too much). BUT, since you guys give me so much flak for my shopping addiction, I thought I would do a little remix for you. Here's that Forever 21 top I love, but this time belted and paired with cuffed jean shorts. The top makes me feel chic and the shorts feel nice and cool!
