Before and After: Alphabet Green Kid's Rocker

Good morning friends!  Hope you're having a wonderful Saturday.  Here's another project I finished during my vacation day yesterday (from my day job!).  I found this fantastic solid wood kid's size rocking chair a couple of weeks ago...

Since I knew it would be for a children's room, I decided to go with a nice celery green (Krylon's Celery) - good for a wee little boy or girl!  It was also a great opportunity to have a little bit of fun with hand painting, so I added ABC as an extra touch.

Before and After: Calming Blue Side Table

I've really been on a roll!  This is a side table I picked up a few weeks back...

Before painting it in a soft, smoky blue (don't have the colour, it was some paint I've had for a while), I added a vintage print wallpaper to the panels to truly give it a girly feel.  Then I finished it off with another nod to retro, the pewter cup pull.  Ta da!

Before and After: Leafy Green Accent Table

Here's another one of those small tables I've been working on. 

In keeping with the theme of vivid colour and hand painting, I decided on a lovely green (Martha Stewart's Bay Leaf).  I purchased one of the pre-tinted testers and would you believe I only used half?  They are a great idea for small projects.  But this was my first time using MS paint and I found it quite thin...anyone have the same issues?  Love the colours, not in love with the actual paint....mmmm, I may have to get MS colours colour-matched with CIL paint in the future.
